Here at SportsReg we’re super excited for the Six Nations, so we thought we’d create this handy guide so you don’t miss any of the action..

Competition is growing, tension is rising, and the excitement is building for the Six Nations 2017, which begins this Saturday. Northern Hemisphere’s most outstanding rugby-playing countries are prepared for the world-famous rugby tournament, but the outcome is impossible to predict.

England defended their position under Eddie Jones winning 5 out of 5 games, earning them the top spot on the leaderboard.  Owen Farrell’s kicking could be vital for England, but will they be able to match the bar they set last year?

Ireland are another favourite due to their triumph over the All Blacks in Chicago back in 2016, and they will be looking to improve on their 3rd place position in the Six Nations 2016.  But the future is uncertain, as their master of tactical kicking (Jonathan Sexton) needs to overcome a calf problem which rules him out of the opening game.

Both England and Ireland are favourites, but France, Wales, Italy and Scotland will be looking to overthrow them in this famously unpredictable tournament
